I help my students learn the basics of yoga, so that they can build their own practice at home.

By giving you the tools to build a routine, we can deepen our understanding of the connection between body, mind and soul.

While practising yoga myself, I noticed how many people find the idea of a yoga practice very daunting. I am here to show you that it doesn’t have to be.

What Do You Need To Start Practicing Yoga?

To practice yoga, you don’t need much. The most important thing is that you can practice in a calm space where you won’t be disturbed and that has enough ventilation.

These classes are organized online every Saturday morning & Sunday afternoon. I offer 2 type of yoga classes. Vinyasa flow classes & Restorative/ Yin classes.

Private lessons

If you would like to have 1:1 classes with me this is also possible. To have an idea of the pricing you can ask for a quote and I will come back to you so we can discuss your needs.


Always wanted to do a headstand but never learned how to? Not really sure how to get into a dancer pose? During our workshops, you can learn to perfect your yoga skills in a slow and guided way, while keeping it challenging!

Hi, My Name Is Aja & I Am A Vinyasa And Restorative Yoga Teacher: 

I started practicing yoga in 2014 and decided to become a yoga teacher in 2020 for Vinyasa Yoga.

I later started studying Restorative yoga to extend my knowledge.

Gaindé is the Wolof word for lion, which represents elegance, strength and wisdom. 

Yoga has helped me to heal myself both physically and mentally, so I am eager to teach you how to build your own yoga routine. My goal for Gaindé Yoga is to make you feel confident in your practice and rediscover yourself on the way.

Aja communiceert heel goed. Ze geeft voldoende uitleg bij elke oefening. Het is leuk om te weten waarvoor elke oefening goed is. Ze gaf me een sessie dat vooral nodig is voor studenten die veel achter hun computer zitten. De focus was op de rug en de bekken. Na mijn eerste yoga sessie was ik meteen ontspannen. Ik voelde mij tijdens de Yoga-lessen van Aja meteen op mijn gemak. Als beginner is het vaak spannend om deel te nemen aan zo’n lesje, maar Aja neemt de tijd en ruimte om iedereen op zijn/haar gemak te laten voelen en alternatieven aan te bieden voor oefeningen die niet lukken. Een hele fijne eerste ervaring met yoga! Zeker een aanrader voor beginners én gevorderden.

Jouw lessen zijn heel toegankelijk maar steeds uitdagend. Er is ruimte en vrijheid om binnen dezelfde pose naar een hogere moeilijkheidsgraad te gaan, wat ik enorm apprecieerde. Bovendien heb je een geweldig aangename stem die je doorheen de les begeleidt.
